Air Fryer Individual Rose Water Cheesecakes – Creamy & Delicate in 12 Minutes

Individual rose water cheesecakes were one of those elegant desserts I thought needed a full oven setup, until my first air fryer attempt cracked and overcooked on top. I was aiming for that smooth, creamy texture with a subtle floral note. After testing this three ways, I discovered that lower heat and shorter cook time made all the difference. Then I cracked the code by slightly underbaking and letting them set as they cooled. I finally landed on a method that gives silky centers with a delicate rose finish every time.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer (6-quart recommended)
  • 4 ramekins or silicone molds
  • Mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or whisk

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Crushed pistachios optional, for garnish
  • Dried rose petals food-grade, optional

Instructions

  • Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter.
  • Press mixture firmly into the bottom of each ramekin.
  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add sugar and mix until fully combined.
  • Add egg and mix gently until incorporated.
  • Stir in heavy cream, rose water, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour filling evenly over crusts.
  • Tap ramekins gently to remove air bubbles.
  • Preheat air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  • Air fry for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers slightly jiggly.
  • Check doneness—centers should wobble slightly when shaken.
  • Turn off air fryer and let cheesecakes rest inside for 5 minutes.
  • Remove and cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Garnish with pistachios and rose petals before serving.

Notes

  • Air fryer temperatures vary—avoid overbaking to prevent cracks.
  • Slight jiggle in the center is key; they firm up as they cool.
  • Do not overcrowd; ensure space between ramekins.
  • Store in refrigerator up to 4 days.
  • Reheat gently at 280°F (140°C) for 2–3 minutes or serve chilled.
  • Substitute rose water with orange blossom water for variation.
