Air fryer snickerdoodles were one of those cookies I didn’t expect to get right the first time, my first batch spread too much and lost that signature soft center. I was craving that thick, pillowy texture with a perfect cinnamon sugar coating. After testing this three ways, I discovered that chilling the dough and using cream of tartar made all the difference. Then I cracked the code with a lower temperature and quick cook time. Now they come out soft, chewy, and perfectly coated every time.
