Air fryer egg in a hole was my fix for a breakfast that always seemed simple but never turned out quite right in a pan. The first time I tried it, the bread burned before the egg set properly. After testing this three ways, I discovered that lowering the temperature and pre-toasting slightly made everything cook evenly. The first few attempts were close, but adjusting the timing finally solved the issue. I finally landed on crispy, golden toast with a perfectly set egg that feels simple but reliable every time.
